As a Senior Director at Elevate Mestel Michelle specializes in Associate, Counsel and Partner placements in the Mountain West Region including Colorado and California. She places high importance in developing honest communication with both candidates and clients by truly listening to their needs and wants. She has a track record of successfully guiding both candidates and clients through the recruiting process and proving to be a valued advisor and resource with deep market expertise.
Michelle has over ten years of legal recruiting experience placing attorneys of all levels in Colorado, California, and across the country. Before becoming a legal recruiter, Michelle practiced law in Denver, Colorado for close to ten years. She also served as a five-year board member and legal advisor of a non-profit organization which provided support and assistance to abused children and their non-offending family members.
Michelle earned her J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law and her B.A. from the University of California San Diego. Michelle loves to travel, especially to visit her daughter in college and to follow her son’s hockey team across the country. As a Colorado resident, she enjoys many outdoor activities; biking, hiking, paddleboarding and snowboarding.
